Horizons at CT State Norwalk, formerly Norwalk Community College, provides its students with high-quality programs, outside of the traditional school year, to support academic achievement and healthy youth development.
Horizons National recently engaged Concentric Research & Evaluation (CRE) to determine whether students who participate in the Horizons program for at least four summers achieve better academic outcomes than similar students who do not participate, with promising results.
Horizons at Norwalk Community College partnered with local theater company Shakespeare on the Sound to bring students a wonderful Arts & Literacy Workshop, where they focused on themes of love and friendship in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
